Rodaportal is operated from Cyprus by Rodaportal, which is responsible for personal data described in this notice. This notice applies to the Rodaportal website and its contact form. The site is an editorial publication; the articles and images it publishes are not information collected from readers.

Information processed when you visit

The site’s hosting provider may process technical request data such as your IP address, requested page, browser and device details, and request time to deliver the site, maintain security, and investigate failures. This website is hosted on Amazon Lightsail in the AWS US East (Ohio) region in the United States. Search words are included in the page URL when you search and may remain in your browser history or appear in access logs.

Embedded videos and external websites

YouTube embeds are blocked until you allow External media in Cookie settings. If you allow them, YouTube may receive technical information from your browser when the video loads or you interact with it. External websites you choose to visit have their own privacy notices and practices.

Contact form

If you use the form, Rodaportal processes your name, email address, subject, and message to respond to your enquiry. Do not include sensitive personal information. The form sends your message to Rodaportal through Resend, an email-delivery provider. Resend states that email and delivery-log data is stored in the United States and retained for 30 days on its Free, Pro, and Scale plans. Selecting its Ireland sending region controls where mail is sent from, not where stored data is held. Rodaportal keeps the message in its receiving mailbox while it is needed to handle the enquiry and any reasonable follow-up, then deletes it unless a longer period is needed for a correction, dispute, or legal claim.

Cookies and browser storage

The current preview uses browser local storage to remember your consent choices. Essential storage is used for that purpose. The preview does not currently load Google Analytics or AdSense, and saving an Analytics or Advertising preference does not activate either service. You can reject optional categories or change your choices at any time using Cookie settings. If analytics or ads are added later, this notice and the consent system must be updated to describe and control the actual services before they are enabled.

This preview preference panel is not a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP). Before serving personalized Google ads to people in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, Rodaportal must use a CMP certified by Google and integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. Google’s European regulations message in AdSense is one available certified option. The CMP must be configured before ads are enabled for those visitors.

Advertising and Google services

Advertising and Google Analytics are not active on this preview. If Google AdSense is enabled, Google and other third-party vendors may place and read cookies on your browser, or use web beacons, IP addresses, and similar identifiers to serve and measure ads. Google uses advertising cookies to help serve ads, including ads based on your prior visits to this site or other sites. Before enabling ads, we will update this notice with the advertising services and vendors actually used. Why we use information and the legal grounds

We use contact details to respond to messages and handle corrections. We use technical request data to deliver and secure the site. Depending on the circumstances, these activities are based on our legitimate interests in operating an editorial website and responding to enquiries, while respecting your rights. Optional analytics, advertising, and external media should only be activated after the required consent has been obtained.

How long information is kept

Resend retains email and delivery-log data for 30 days on its Free, Pro, and Scale plans. Rodaportal keeps contact messages while they are needed to answer and manage the enquiry and any reasonable follow-up, then deletes them unless a correction, dispute, or legal claim requires longer retention. Nginx access and error logs are configured for daily rotation, keeping 14 rotated files plus the current log. Empty logs are not rotated, so records can remain longer than 14 calendar days during periods of low activity. Browser consent choices remain on your device until you clear them or replace your choice.

Service providers and international processing

Hosting, email delivery, embedded media, and any future analytics or advertising providers may process information to provide their services. Resend states that email data is stored in the United States and that transfers are covered by contractual safeguards described in its data-processing terms. Amazon Lightsail provides hosting in the AWS US East (Ohio) region in the United States. Google Analytics and advertising are currently disabled.

Publisher and privacy enquiries

You may ask Rodaportal to provide access to, correct, or erase personal data, or to restrict or object to certain processing, subject to the conditions in applicable law. You may also withdraw consent at any time for processing based on consent; this does not affect processing already carried out. Contact Rodaportal through the Contact page.
